Custom Indian Springfield Just days after unveiling the Victory Octane, the Polaris Group presents a new model in its other brand of motorcycle Indian Motorcycle: the Springfield. This new model range in 2016 derives its name from the city of origin of the manufacturer. Thought for the Touring, the Springfield stands out from other models in the Indian range by its windshield quick release and detachable hard saddlebags that allow it to turn into cruiser in moments.

A known base
Springfield still retains the luxurious style of the brand and shows a strong resemblance to the Chief Vintage. However, it relies on a different chassis which adapts safe to provide better ability to travel. The chassis has in turn been designed to withstand heavy loads. The bike has a fork with integrated air damper and can carry up to 242 kg.

Mechanical side, we stay on the line of Chief since Springfield is powered by the V-Twin Thunder Stroke 111 of 1.811cm delivering a torque of 139 Nm. This is associated with a primary transmission by direct gears, lubrication by solid housing humide and displays a maintenance interval of 8,000 km.
