Range Rover Evoque

Since 2011, the Range Rover Evoque has attracted much attention because of its design that does not look like a conventional SUV. Evoque SUV as a battering ram design (especially in the family Land Rover) and a more modern metropolis.
At the Geneva Motor Show 2013 ago, Land Rover introduced the new Evoque gets some changes, especially in the mechanical section. Evoque is now equipped with 9-speed automatic transmission developed by ZF. This transmission is claimed to improve fuel efficiency, acceleration and driving comfort.

This time, we had the opportunity to try out the Range Rover Evoque 2.0 L Si4 petrol with turbocharger, which offers peak power of 237 hp at 3,500 rpm and torque of 340 Nm at 1750 rpm.
Inside the cabin, contemporary interior design is welcomed with dark shades and leather dominate the color contrast double stitching, making it look luxurious as well as comfortable hugging the body. The interior is filled with neat without buttons as in most of the current car, and instead some of the modes and features can be executed from the touch screen panel in the center console. At the bottom, there is a play button replacement gear lever that will appear once the engine starts.

Rearranging the seating is very easy and does not require a long time. Area forward field of view, though somewhat narrower towards the back. This is because the rear glass Evoque is indeed small. Its panoramic roof makes the cabin seem large roomy.
Turn on the engine, the transmission and the play button will appear. Turn the knob to position D, and gently stepped on the accelerator pedal, the Evoque will be driving with the gear shift feels very smooth, Another case when rotated to the S mode, gear shift can be felt in the higher engine speed than ever before.
One thing is quite disturbing when driving the Evoque is that feels less quiet at low speeds. As we wade through the traffic jams by using mode D. The car seems less enough responsive to the accelerator pedal board is normal, but when adds a little pressure, This car as if jump and accelerates.
When maneuvering, presenting Evoque steady control without symptoms of excessive body roll when cornering fast for a car that is relatively high. In addition, thanks to its Active Driveline System, that constantly monitors the situation of driving, enabling automatically changing between the motion system of four-wheel and two wheels according to road conditions.

However, driving a City Evoque feels more like driving with a supermodel. The biggest attraction of this car is fully present of a beautiful figure but still great, makes peoples always glance at this car in the middle of traffic. Combined with the convenience and fun driving experience, the car has become one of the complete options in the premium compact SUV class.
